New research has highlighted a major challenge facing young people in Doncaster.
Analysis from the Centre for Cities, published on Wednesday 7 October, puts the proportion of young people classed as not in education, employment or training (NEET) in Doncaster at 17%.
That places Doncaster among the five highest rates across urban England in the analysis.
The five highest rates in the analysis are Blackpool at 21%, Doncaster at 17%, Bradford at 17%, Middlesbrough at 17% and Barnsley at 17%.
