The team working to reopen Doncaster Sheffield Airport says almost 1,900 online responses were submitted to its consultation on plans to reinstate controlled airspace.
The consultation closed on 4 October after receiving 1,894 online submissions as well as more than a dozen postal responses. Five face-to-face events were also attended by 423 people. The feedback will now be reviewed before a consultation response document is produced, with a Civil Aviation Authority decision expected in spring 2027.
