Active Fusion says its founder Lindsy James will undertake a seven-day endurance challenge from Loch Ness to London from 6 to 12 June 2027.
The challenge will cover more than 1,055 kilometres and includes a 5km open-water swim, a 1,000km endurance cycle and a 50km ultramarathon.
Active Fusion says the distance symbolises the approximate length of a line formed by 2.3 million young people standing shoulder to shoulder, reflecting the number experiencing significant mental health difficulties.
The charity says the Limitless Within campaign is intended to promote conversations about resilience, mental wellbeing and human potential while helping it create more opportunities for children and young people.
