A man who died after being mauled by a tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park may have asked a couple to photograph him with the animal before he entered its enclosure, according to reports.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident at the park near Doncaster. The park was evacuated shortly afterwards, and it was later confirmed that the attraction would remain closed on Sunday.
The tiger was not injured and stayed in the enclosure after the attack, according to reports. Additional footage appears to show a man being pawed at and grappled by a tiger inside an enclosure at the park.
Tickets remain available to purchase for visits from Monday onwards.
