South Yorkshire Police say emergency services were called to Yorkshire Wildlife Park at 1.35pm today, Saturday 10 October, after reports that a man had entered a tiger enclosure.
Yorkshire Wildlife Park has confirmed a serious incident at its tiger enclosure, with emergency services attending and the park closed.
Plans are moving forward to convert part of the former Bridge Inn opposite Rotherham Central station into a convenience store. A premises licence has been secured allowing alcohol to be sold for consumption off the premises 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with late-night refreshment also permitted.
