Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward after a serious road traffic collision in Doncaster.
South Yorkshire Police say they were called at 1.45pm on Saturday 10 October to reports of a collision at the junction of South Parade and Albion Place. A blue Kia Sportage was reported to have been involved in a collision with an e-scooter.
Officers and the ambulance service attended the scene. The rider of the e-scooter, a 21-year-old man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police say.
The driver of the Kia remained at the scene to assist officers with their enquiries, according to the force.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of the collision is asked to get in touch online or by calling 101, quoting incident number 456 of 10 October 2026.
